About The Position

The Project Scanning Associate role is a temporary, part-time position focused on in-store data collection for various retail environments. Associates will scan barcodes of products to gather information that helps assess and improve product and store performance. This position offers flexibility in hours and the opportunity to work independently while contributing to a significant annual project.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Ability to endure being on feet for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to reach 6 feet in the air and perform repetitive movements for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable transportation with minimum state auto insurance coverage.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in retail or data collection is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections by scanning barcodes of products using a downloadable app on a personal device.
• Work through stocked sections of products in grocery, drug, and mass merchandise stores.
• Ensure thoroughness and timeliness in data collection to meet client expectations.
• Complete training virtually and apply learned skills in the field.
• Travel to various retail locations as needed, potentially up to 2 hours away.
