About The Position

The Project Scanning Associate role involves collecting data on products in various retail environments, primarily grocery and drug stores. Associates will scan barcodes to gather information that helps assess and improve product and store performance. This temporary, part-time position offers flexibility in hours and independence in the workplace, making it suitable for individuals looking for consistent work with some physical activity.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and reach 6 feet in the air.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Reliable transportation with minimum state auto insurance coverage.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in retail or data collection is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections by scanning barcodes of products using a personal device.
• Work through stocked sections of products in the store, ensuring thoroughness and timeliness in data collection.
• Complete the project requirements by working each week from January through March.
• Travel to various retail locations as needed, potentially up to 2 hours away.
• Engage in repetitive movements and physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
