The Project Sales Representative will help Identify, develop, and close project-based sales opportunities within the commercial HVAC sector. Drive business growth by targeting projects for new installations, retrofits, and large-scale repairs while fostering strong client relationships and ensuring successful project execution in collaboration with operations.

  • Identify and qualify project-based opportunities for HVAC installations, retrofits, and major repairs through proactive outreach, networking, and market research.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to build a robust project pipeline, leveraging industry insights and aligning with company growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their specific project needs and presenting tailored HVAC solutions.
  • Work closely with clients to scope out projects, define deliverables, and provide accurate, competitive proposals that outline timelines, costs, and technical specifications.
  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring terms align with project objectives and company standards, and work to close deals that support long-term partnerships.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure project delivery aligns with client expectations, coordinating closely to provide seamless transition from sale to execution.
  • Conduct ongoing market research to stay ahead of trends, industry needs, and competitor activity, utilizing findings to refine project sales strategies.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of project leads, client interactions, and pipeline stages in the CRM system to monitor progress and drive results.
  • Gather post-project feedback, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring client satisfaction to build trust and increase repeat business.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or project-based sales within the HVAC, construction, or similar technical services industry (2-4 years preferred).
  • Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems with the ability to clearly communicate project-specific technical details to clients.
  • Demonstrated success in securing project-based deals and managing long-term client relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal teams to deliver seamless project transitions and client satisfaction.
  • Skilled in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite for accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Valid driver’s license and availability for local travel to meet clients and oversee project details as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
