About The Position

This assignment supports safety oversight for drywall, framing, lath and plaster, and fireproofing activities on a large-scale hospital expansion, including: Daily inspections and monitoring of contractor activities Oversight of drywall and framing crews in high-paced environments Conducting toolbox talks, orientations, and safety training Hazard identification, corrective action tracking, and compliance reporting Coordination with GC, subcontractors, and site teams to maintain a strong safety culture

Requirements

• Drywall/framing experience (most important requirement)
• BCSP (STS-C or Higher), OSHA 30, and 5+ years of experience
• Construction safety management background
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage a diverse workforce
• Physically capable of navigating a large project site
• Strong working knowledge of: Drywall, framing, and fireproofing construction safety
• OSHA standards, compliance strategies, and safety documentation
• Toolbox talks, orientations, and safety training methods
• Hazard recognition, job hazard analysis, and incident investigation

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus, not required

Responsibilities

• Conducting daily safety walks, audits, and hazard recognition
