About The Position

The Project Quality and Risk Lead (Late Phase) at Parexel International Corporation is a pivotal role designed to ensure quality oversight and risk management within clinical research projects. This position is particularly focused on maintaining a first-time quality approach, robust risk and issue management, and ensuring that all operations are inspection-ready. The Project Quality and Risk Lead will work closely with operational delivery teams, providing quality expertise that safeguards patient safety, data integrity, and regulatory compliance. This role is essential in coordinating the identification of Critical to Quality (CtQ) elements, evaluating risks, and implementing effective controls. The Project Quality and Risk Lead will also collaborate with the broader Project Quality and Risk Management (PQRM) groups and other quality teams, contributing to a cohesive approach to quality management across projects. In this role, the Project Quality and Risk Lead will be responsible for leading quality oversight efforts, supported by a Line Manager or Mentor. The position requires strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and the ability to influence without authority. The ideal candidate will possess developing analytical skills to identify potential issues, investigate root causes, and assess the effectiveness of actions taken. The ability to build professional relationships both internally and with clients is crucial, as is the capacity to interpret and synthesize data to identify risks and trends. The Project Quality and Risk Lead must be adaptable to changing environments, capable of managing workload effectively while keeping patient and client needs at the forefront. Attention to detail, initiative, and accountability for deliverables are key characteristics of a successful candidate. Additionally, the role requires the ability to navigate the complexities of a matrix environment while fostering teamwork. The position may involve travel, estimated at about 20%.
