About The Position

The Admissions Counselor will manage an assigned geographic territory to recruit a diverse, qualified and talented group of students to the university. Territories will be assigned and updated by the Director of Admissions. Additionally, the admissions counselor will assist with the on-campus visitation programs, campus tours, conveying information about the university and the admission process to prospective students, and their parents by means of college fairs, school visits, written communication, e-mail, text messaging, social media, phone calling, yield activities, supporting the Reddie Ambassador group. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned geographic territory to recruit students.
• Assist with on-campus visitation programs and campus tours.
• Convey information about the university and admission process to prospective students and their parents.
• Participate in college fairs and school visits.
• Utilize written communication, e-mail, text messaging, social media, and phone calls for outreach.
• Support yield activities and the Reddie Ambassador group.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
