About The Position

Looking for hands on project managers who have personally driven projects from start to finish, not individuals who simply list projects on a résumé. The right candidate can manage work through completion by coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, understanding project details end to end, raising concerns proactively, and asking the right questions at the right time. Strong execution, ownership, and communication are essential. This role will span a mix of project types. Projects may involve internal stakeholders, external vendors, and occasionally customer facing components. The project manager must be comfortable working with all parties and keeping everyone informed, aligned, and accountable throughout execution. Certifications are helpful but not required. They only add value if the candidate has applied those methodologies in real world situations. For that reason, certifications are considered a preference rather than a requirement. This is a remote role. Candidates with project or program management experience will be considered more favorably, as the team is growing and needs individuals who can think beyond individual projects and support the broader roadmap. The PMO is expected to expand beyond its current size, so individuals who can scale with the team and support the bigger picture are highly valued. Preferred Skill Set and Approach Projects may include: • Software development initiatives • System implementation projects • Infrastructure projects • Third party application implementations Media industry experience is a strong plus, as familiarity with related terminology and concepts reduces ramp up time. Infrastructure experience across industries is also valuable, particularly in areas such as virtualization and cloud platforms. Ideally, candidates have experience with: • Networking and infrastructure upgrades • Domain migrations • Virtual server implementations (VMware, Hyper V, cloud platforms such as AWS) Candidates do not need to be technical experts but should be capable of effectively managing technical teams and vendors and understanding project risks and dependencies. They work in an Agile environment, however, the organization operates in a hybrid delivery model, not a strictly Agile environment.
