About The Position

Siemens Mobility Inc. is seeking a Project Procurement Manager for multiple positions in Sacramento, CA. This full-time role involves establishing material cost calculations to support customer bids, ensuring budget adherence throughout project execution, and preparing procurement strategies for timely supply of materials. The Project Procurement Manager will act as an intermediary between the project and procurement teams and support supplier management processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
• 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a Project Procurement-related occupation.
• Experience in project management within a manufacturing environment with multiple parallel long-term projects.
• Experience overseeing custom made-to-order projects.
• Experience working with supply chain management including design development, procurement, and commercial controlling.
• Ability to coordinate the entire supply chain for projects.
• Experience reviewing productivity by detecting schedule delays, potential and actual cost overruns, adherence to processes and procedures, and scope gaps.

Responsibilities

• Establish material costs calculations to support customer bids.
• Ensure budget adherence/controlling throughout project execution to achieve KPIs and project targets.
• Prepare procurement strategies to ensure cost-efficient and timely supply of materials through ramp-up phase.
• Act as the intermediary between the project and procurement team.
• Support supplier management processes.
