This will include project work, professional development, a business challenge culminating in presenting to our executive leadership team, and networking opportunities. Our summer internship is the entry point into our 12-month rotational program. The program aims to create a pathway to full time employment and develop well rounded junior associates with great potential. Each summer we choose two interns to join Ensono full-time and gain experience in different departments over 3-month rotations. Because of this, our ideal intern candidate would graduate by Spring 2026 or December 2026 and be interested in full-time opportunities after the internship ends. We are looking for potential participants for our 2026 Summer Internship Program and are excited to invite driven and self-motivated candidates to apply! Ensono is dedicated to cultivating talented individuals with unique skillsets who know how to dream big and build bigger! Ensono’s paid internship is a 12-week program that runs from May 18th to August 7th, 2026 and could lead to a part-time or full-time position within Ensono. We are seeking a driven and analytical intern to join our Project Management Governance team for the 2026 Summer Internship Program. As a Project Portfolio Data Analyst Intern, you will play a key role in modeling, automating, and reporting on our project portfolio data. You will collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop insightful dashboards and reports that drive decision-making and portfolio optimization.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Experience with Python, R, or similar programming languages for data analysis and automation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SQL or other data querying languages
  • Exposure to AI and machine learning concepts and tools (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Azure ML)
  • Knowledge of project management concepts and methodologies
  • Prior internship or project experience in data analysis, automation, or reporting

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze project portfolio data from various sources
  • Develop and maintain portfolio reporting models and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel
  • Automate data collection, transformation, and reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Apply AI and machine learning techniques to uncover trends, predict risks, and enhance portfolio insights
  • Support the creation of automated reporting solutions for project status, resource allocation, and financial metrics
  • Assist in identifying trends, risks, and opportunities across the project portfolio
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights
  • Document processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
