About The Position

The Program Coordinator (0.2 FTE) supports the implementation, operations, and communications of key global nursing initiatives within the UCSF Center for Global Nursing. This role provides coordination across 2025-2026 CGN’s global programs, including the Tonga Quality. Improvement Fellowship, the Global Scholars Program, the LFHC/AAP, iCATCH grant, and the collaboration with Muhimbili National Hospital supporting the KIDS OR grant and PICU Nursing Fellowship. The coordinator works closely with CGN leadership, global partners, UCSF faculty, and administrative units to ensure smooth program execution and effective communication of CGN’s impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience.
  • Working knowledge of common organization- or research-specific and other computer application programs.
  • Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient in ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality.
  • Demonstrates ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns.
  • Demonstrates ability to analyze, research and synthesize large amounts of data with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes.
  • Working knowledge of procurement, finance, and administrative techniques.
