AECOM is seeking a Project Planning & Scheduling Specialist to be based in Murray, Utah. This role involves providing analysis of schedule data to identify key project issues, supporting the development of plans and schedules for proposals, and assisting in leading junior staff through assignment tasks. The specialist will track corrective actions, coordinate schedule input from all parts of the organization, and analyze project schedule variances to recommend corrective actions. Responsibilities also include updating and producing scheduling management reports, developing and maintaining WBS, and ensuring effective project coding for cornerstone applications. The specialist must be able to use drawings and specifications for schedule development, develop CPM schedule logic for engineering, procurement, and construction, and perform remedial schedule risk analysis. Additional duties include measuring progress, reviewing contractor invoices, and providing management with input on subcontract performance. The role requires knowledge of scope control, change management, earned value methodology, and basic cost analysis as it relates to planning and scheduling. The specialist will support various levels of project reporting, participate in project planning and scheduling review meetings, and assist in procedure development and implementation.

  • Provides management with input on subcontract performance.
  • Knowledgeable of scope control and change management.
  • Incorporates directed changes into schedule baseline.
  • Knowledgeable in earned value methodology.
  • Assumes responsibility for some elements of baseline schedule and associated maintenance.
  • Familiar with basic cost analysis and forecasting as it relates to planning and scheduling.
  • Conducts or assists in performance measurement and associated schedule trends.
  • Supports various levels of project reporting.
  • Participates in and at times leads project planning and scheduling review meetings.
  • Assists in procedure development and implementation.
  • BA/BS + 8 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • 10+ Years experience supporting facility and master planning.
  • Experience working on site of a large manufacturing company.
