About The Position

Aerometals is looking to add the following position: Project Planner Pay range: $35 - $40 hourly Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:00am - 12:00pm The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to: Review government, commercial, and aerospace/defense contracts. Review drawings, engineering document packages, part markings, packaging, and government/commercial specifications. Create job releases from approved job templates. Use ERP software to calculate job material requirements for raw stock, hardware, and time-sensitive materials, and create indentured bills of materials. Coordinate with purchasing as required to source and quote materials and services required for the manufacture of contracted parts. Track and status all job releases. Work closely with shop personnel and project engineers to resolve technical issues with assigned projects. Support contract administration with timely responses and updates regarding scheduled deliveries, deviations, contract modifications, and critical safety item (CSI) requirements. Hold responsibility for a job from cradle (initial workup) to grave (shipped out the door) unless it’s transferred to another project planner while in process. Perform other duties as assigned by the organization. Qualification Requirements: Education: Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering degree or equivalent Skills: Proficient in windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Knowledgeable in manufacturing processes Any ERP/MRP system and/or JobBOSS knowledge preferred Solid Modeling a plus with SolidWorks Experience: 2+ years in drafting, planning, production control, or purchasing Training: On the job training. Requirements

  • Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Proficient in windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat
  • Knowledgeable in manufacturing processes
  • 2+ years in drafting, planning, production control, or purchasing

Nice To Haves

  • Any ERP/MRP system and/or JobBOSS knowledge preferred
  • Solid Modeling a plus with SolidWorks
