About The Position
The position requires a skilled penetration tester with a strong background in cybersecurity. The candidate must possess industry-standard cybersecurity certifications such as Ethical Hacking certification, certifications from SANS, ISC2, etc. The role involves analyzing malware and exploits through forensics, observing network traffic, and using various tools to determine vulnerabilities in PG&E systems. The candidate will be responsible for researching and writing in-depth reports and advisories on security risks to employees and operations. An expert understanding of network security, vulnerability assessment, web application security, and operating systems is essential, along with proficiency in scripting, report writing, communication, and social engineering. The candidate should have a deep understanding of different network components and hacking techniques to effectively identify and exploit vulnerabilities within systems and applications.
