About The Position

Hey there, future Project Operations Engineer! At MapleCraft Engineers, we are on the lookout for a Project Operations Engineer to join our team in a fully remote role (U.S. only). While this position is primarily remote, there will be occasional travel but don't worry, we will always aim to keep it near where you live. If you love keeping engineering projects running smoothly, optimizing processes, and ensuring everything is on track, this could be the perfect role for you!

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States and authorized to work without sponsorship.
  • 3+ years of experience in project operations, project management, or a related engineering field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills you thrive in a fast-paced environment!
  • Proficiency in project management tools like MS Project, Asana, Trello, or similar.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills you're the person people turn to when challenges arise.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills you'll be working with teams, clients, and stakeholders remotely.
  • Ability to work independently while staying aligned with team goals and company vision.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of civil engineering, structural design, or construction processes (bonus points if you have experience in these fields!).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables stay on track.
  • Work closely with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to streamline communication and workflow, using top-tier digital tools to stay connected.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions that improve project efficiency and execution.
  • Ensure all projects meet industry standards, regulations, and MapleCrafts high-quality expectations.
  • Identify potential project risks, troubleshoot challenges, and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
  • Manage project resources effectively, ensuring the right materials, equipment, and people are in place to meet deadlines.
  • Track project performance, generate reports, and use insights to drive smarter decisions for future projects.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring transparency and smooth project execution.
  • While this role is primarily remote, you'll travel as needed, usually within your region, to visit project sites or meet with teams.
