About The Position

Project Officer The Opportunity: As a project management spe cia list, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. That’s why we need you, an experienced project management spe cia list who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication. On our team, you’ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of DoD programs. You’ll work with key stakeholders to review contracts and project cost accounting. You’ll help with tactical planning using resources like MS Project and regular interactions with integrated product team stakeholders, project officers, and senior leaders. The real impact of project management comes from communication to ensure the program achieves its goals and meets our quality standards. Requirements

Experience with the management and acquisition lifecycle of Defense programs
Experience with Work Breakdown Structures ( WBS ) and Integrated Master Schedules ( IMS )
Knowledge of risk management processes and tools
Ability to lead Integrated Product Team ( IPT ) discussions and present findings to senior leaders
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

Experience leading communications with stakeholders and suppliers to support product development or ongoing production programs
Knowledge of weapon system requirements
Ability to work in a dynamic environment
Ability to work independently without direct supervision
