Project Monitor
About The Position
Our client Harris County is in need of a Project Monitor for their Section 3 Department. This is a Temporary position. This position involves coordination with contractors, project managers, and various departments. It also involves interface with organizations and individuals outside of Harris County, as well as elected officials of Harris County. Conducts pre-bid/construction conferences to discuss and inform subrecipients and contractors of Section 3 requirements. Researches, analyzes, summarizes, and prepares reports. Monitors submitted compliance documents in LCPtracker system, which includes reviewing, approving, or rejecting Section 3 documents. Reviews Section 3 reports submitted by subrecipients and contractors to ensure compliance with Section 3 regulation. Explores best practices to enhance and maintain internal Section 3 monitoring tools. Conducts site visits and participates in construction progress meetings.
Requirements
- Associates Degree Minimum one (1) year experience in contract compliance, construction, and/or related fields specifically including HUD Section 3 compliance.
- Or High School Diploma or equivalent GED Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in contract compliance, construction, and/or related
