The Section 3 Project Monitor is a member of the Worker & Community Protection Program at the Harris County Department of Economic Equity & Opportunity. As part of the Inclusive Procurements Division, the Worker & Community Protection Programs ensure that contractors getting paid deliver on promises they made on compensating workers, operating a safe working environment, and creating economic opportunity in communities. The Section 3 Project Monitor will monitor assigned projects of Harris County Housing & Community Development and Harris County Flood Control Department, to ensure compliance with the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Texas General Land Office (GLO).
