Responsibilities

  • Ensures customer is contacted within 48 hours of project Award.
  • Reviews overall project objectives and timelines with customer and establishes ongoing communication strategy.
  • Ensures all required project information has been provided to Operations from Sales and Engineering.
  • Assigns project related tasks within ConnectWise in relation to project timelines.
  • Reviews all information with key personnel to address questions and unknowns.
  • Evaluates potential problems, impact, and solutions. Coordinate resources, site access, PPE requirements and equipment.
  • Creates a project plan with specific milestones to be able to achieve overall project budgets and timelines.
  • Assists in the creation of Gantt charts, Risk Register, Site Safety Plans as required.
  • Adjusts as necessary the project plan and communicate any changes for the duration of the project life cycle to all stakeholders.
  • Review system functionality, schedule, and plan with customer. Oversee site walk-throughs to verify locations and identify safety hazards.
  • Lead project Kick-Off meeting and communicate the project plan and reviews all project milestones.
  • Perform consistent site evaluations, safety inspections and CEC quality assurances to ensure project plan compliance.
  • Mentor and correct discrepancies, when possible, report reoccurrences when necessary.
  • Communicate changes in the SOW and seek Change Order possibilities. Adapt project plan as needed.
  • Ensure project punch list and system testing is completed, coordinate customer training, and schedule documentation completion.
  • Assist CEC Sales/Engineering in pre-sales functions by sharing and/or compiling specific customer knowledge and design.
  • Assist with the onsite training and mentoring of less experienced team members.
  • Work alongside the project team to ensure safety and quality objectives are met by adhering to industry codes, standards, and best practices.
  • Perform customer walk-throughs. Submit documentation, obtain customer sign off and verify completion for project fulfillment on all assigned projects.
  • Provide input on project management processes, procedures, tools, and best practice improvement.
  • Give recommendations to Sales and Engineering on improvement areas and project successes.
  • Responsible to support Service ticket completion as assigned and provide voluntary support to CEC's 24/7 On Call rotation.
  • Other Duties as Assigned.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technology experience within CEC or similar company.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience within CEC or similar company.
  • 2 safety related certifications.
  • 1 Industry certification (i.e. NICET, Bicsi, CTS, etc.).
  • Industry certifications and trainings can/will be obtained during the first year of employment to meet the minimum qualifications when applicable.
