The primary purpose of the project management role is to lead, oversee and manage the successful delivery of one or more projects through the application of defined processes, using tools and techniques, to deliver the agreed upon project scope as quickly as possible, for the least cost, while exceeding customer/client expectations and maintaining acceptable levels of quality and risk. At the Project Manager I level, supervisory oversight will be required until the requisite level of competency is attained.
