About The Position

The Project Manager at ABB will lead the execution of various projects and services, ensuring compliance with procedures, regulations, and standards. This role involves managing project teams, monitoring progress, controlling project financials, and driving project acceptance and close-out. The position is hybrid and primarily supports the Process Automation area in Chile, focusing on the Mining segment.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Project Management within the Mining segment.
• Experience with Engineering and Commissioning of Specialized and Automation systems.
• A 'zero-harm' mindset focused on quality results and workplace safety.
• Ability to manage project procedures and controls effectively.
• Extensive experience with MS Project or Primavera P6 and knowledge of SAP ERP.
• Qualified to lead medium-sized projects through experience, post-graduate studies, or PMO certification.
• Fluent in Spanish and significant experience in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team and establish the project execution approach.
• Oversee planning, monitoring, and control activities for internal and external resources.
• Monitor and control project progress and efficient resource utilization.
• Manage project financials and ensure adherence to budget.
• Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage project risks.
• Drive formal acceptance of the project and contract close-out.
