As an entry-level Professional Project Manager this foundational role offers hands-on experience supporting and leading strategic initiatives across DDI and M&O projects. The Professional Project Manager contributes to project execution, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement efforts. With a focus on collaboration, communication, and process discipline, this position helps drive successful outcomes while building core project management capabilities.

  • Assist in keeping projects moving as Gainwell helps clients deliver better health and human services outcomes through technology and innovation
  • Lead and manage small to mid-sized project management teams by breaking down bigger CX/Operational projects into workable components
  • Spearhead project planning, tracking and oversight of assigned staff by providing directions and deadlines to ensure quality and timely completion of tasks
  • Facilitate project meetings, including kick-offs, status updates, and retrospectives
  • Communicate with the client, company and project team leadership, measuring and sharing project metrics/status
  • Create project schedules, program definitions, and objectives to ensure the quality of project deliverables across all phases
  • Actively project manage across non-direct reports by quickly escalating any risks and implementing risk mitigation solutions
  • Drive Gainwell’s projects showcasing strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • 1+ years of experience in project coordination, project management, or related roles
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is preferred but not required
  • 5+ years working in the BPO and/or Contact Center space; Contact Center operations or contact center solution knowledge is preferred
  • Participated in structured project management development training focused on planning, execution, and stakeholder communication
  • Basic understanding of project scoping, monitor, control and execution methods
  • Ability to lead and translate the broader objectives of a program into clear and achievable project scope and milestones that can be worked toward
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a project management career
  • Influencer who can clearly communicate project priorities and motivate direct and indirect networks and stakeholders to action
  • Team player, with the ability to collaborate effectively both within the team and across the organization
  • PMP or other project management certification is a plus but not required for entry-level
