About the position

Adtalem Global Education is seeking a Project Manager - Elevate to drive change and support growth through impactful projects. This role is crucial in ensuring the success of projects that fuel both campus and online expansion efforts. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with a dynamic team of project owners, consultants, and third-party vendors to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze project needs and identify key resources required to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Develop clear, actionable project plans, outlining key activities, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Monitor and document project milestones, ensuring timely completion of activities.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Adjust tasks, sequencing, and resources to overcome obstacles and maintain smooth project flow.
  • Lead project teams, guiding them through implementation with clear communication and strategic input.
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth execution of projects.
  • Provide valuable insights to enhance resource efficiency and drive improvements across teams.
  • Embrace diverse project responsibilities as needed and adhere to company policies and standards.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree required; Master’s degree in business or project management preferred.
  • Five years of full lifecycle project management experience, including knowledge of PMBOK or other equivalent methodology.
  • Experience in an academic enterprise preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and determine effective business solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and advance projects independently.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization.
  • Capability to manage both business and vendor resources effectively.
  • Ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in project management practices and tools.
  • Proven ability to influence and instill credibility in sponsors, peers, and subordinates.

Nice-to-haves
