About The Position

This exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our Hansen Team in Bethlehem, PA managing and coordinating through professional staff-specific customer projects involving the design, specification, configuration, and implementation of large complex projects, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, and on budget whilst ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Project Management with a strong understanding of Waterfall, Agile SDLC, Jira, and working in a SaaS environment.
  • PMP designation or PMI Certification is a definite asset.
  • Proven experience and demonstrated competency in roles relevant to large-scale software implementation projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written customer communication and customer management skills.
  • Ability to take control of issues and manage them through a quick and sensible resolution.
  • Ability to effectively work with software implementation, customer support, and sales groups.

Responsibilities

  • Support and provide overall leadership on project implementations and act as the primary contact with the customer for all project related issues.
  • Direct technical and non-technical staff in simple to complex customer software implementation projects, ensuring that work is completed on time and according to customer specifications and standards.
  • Ensure all available data is compiled to ensure a clear understanding of customer requirements and desired functionalities.
  • Schedule projects while ensuring they are completed on budget, on time, and according to acceptable standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize Jira to assist with bug tracking, issue tracking, and agile project management.
  • Ensure completed projects are properly documented and that their implementation satisfies the agreed upon project specifications.
  • Monitor project customization progress, reviewing test results and other indicators to identify and correct problem areas.
  • Liaise with customers on contractual and technical matters and take responsibility for regular financial reporting and success of assigned projects.
  • Develop new business opportunities, maintain good relations with the existing customer base, and propose alternative customer solutions that will yield added revenue.
  • Provide pre-sales support on new account opportunities and contribute to the improvement of policies, procedures, quality standards, and monitoring systems to track issues and compliance.
