About The Position

The Project Manager at OEG, Inc. is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from the initial bid preparation to the final closeout documentation. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical construction and project management principles, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients. The Project Manager will also engage in sales and marketing efforts to secure new work and maintain existing client relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
  • Strong management and human relations skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated financial analytical skills.

  • Experience in electrical construction and theory.
  • Knowledge of construction estimating and marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall supervision and technical management on construction project sites.
  • Prepare cost estimates and proposals for new projects.
  • Attend job walks and meet with customers to identify project needs.
  • Manage contracts from proposal to closeout, ensuring compliance with terms.
  • Attend job meetings with general contractors, owners, and subcontractors.
  • Schedule manpower and evaluate needs based on project requirements.
  • Prepare job cost tracking reports and manage project budgets.
  • Ensure prompt and accurate billing to maintain positive cash flow.
  • Review and analyze cost to complete and work-in-progress reports.
  • Coordinate change orders and ensure timely submission of proposals.
  • Review and submit operation and maintenance manuals during project closeout.
