About The Position

Project Manager – Moss & Associates, LLC – 6363 NW 6th Way, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309 DUTIES: Serve as the primary on-site administrative leader. Work closely with owners, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project execution aligns with established quality, schedule, and budget parameters. Manage day-to-day contract administration including subcontract negotiations, review of change requests, and monthly draw processing. Be responsible for developing and monitoring schedules, enforcing safety compliance, and maintaining strong documentation and project controls. Manage all aspects of project execution including budget tracking, scheduling, and client relationships through project completion. Participate in preconstruction activities including review of owner expectations, scope development, GMP or Lump Sum contracts, and subcontractor bid packaging. Analyze and evaluate subcontractor financial strength. Manage the change order process. Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules and utilization plans. Participate in project start-up including studying contract terms, negotiating subcontracts, and establishing procurement schedules. Identify long-lead items and assess project risks, including mitigation planning and schedule adjustments. Support field operations by coordinating subcontractor activities, ensuring safety and quality compliance. Maintain and manage project documentation including RFI logs, submittals, and change order logs. Administer document control processes, support MBE program reporting, and utilize the CMiC project management system. Obtain Certificates of Occupancy and ensure accurate submission of “As Built” drawings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science & Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field required.
  • Seven years of experience required as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or related position with a general contractor, including any experience with: construction project management software; interfacing with clients, architects, and regulatory agencies; directing cross-functional project teams; and with project financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting.
  • In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science & Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field and seven years of experience, Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Construction Science & Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field and five years of the above-requested experience.
  • Extensive travel on assignments to various unanticipated client sites within U.S.
  • Must have legal authority to work in the U.S.
