About The Position

Directly supports the Administrative Team of Orlando Health Medical Group in developing and carrying out strategic initiatives, program implementation, and project management efforts. We are seeking a strong clinic operations professional who can turn high-level goals into clear, actionable plans. This role works with leadership to research, develop, and implement strategic initiatives from concept through execution. The ideal candidate is comfortable gathering data, analyzing information, building business cases, and presenting clear recommendations to support decision-making. Once initiatives are approved, this individual will move into active project management, leading execution efforts across clinic operations. This role offers the opportunity to take on increasing leadership responsibility over time within a highly visible, strategic position. Orlando Health Medical Group is a comprehensive physician group serving patients from across the southeastern United States. With more than 200 practices and 1,200 physicians, Orlando Health Medical Group has a strong representation in over 55 specialties, including cardiology, vascular medicine, orthopedics, oncology, digestive health, neurology, neurosurgery, bariatric surgery, general surgery, bone marrow transplant and critical care medicine, as well as more than 30 pediatric subspecialties, women’s health, primary care and the largest hospitalist program in Florida. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Requires two (2) years of experience in strategic planning, business and operations planning, process improvement, and/or financial analysis.
  • Analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies, evaluates, and understands national and local trends in healthcare, competitor activities, consumer preferences, economic conditions, physician issues, reimbursement trends, new technology, and regulatory requirements.
  • Works with Orlando Health Physician Enterprise executive teams and physician leaders to develop and support the organization’s adopted strategies.
  • Coordinates a variety of complex and independent activitiesforthe executive team.
  • Assists with ongoing planning and implementation to help establish facility and system-wide businessstrategies.
  • Provides project managementsupport and tracks all new and ongoing locally implemented initiatives.
  • Provides concise and relevant information to members of the executive team to assist in developing and executing strategies and program development.
  • Develops detailed project management lists asrequested.
  • Maintains knowledge of constant changesin regulations from external agencies, especially those related to hospital/physician integration.
  • Works collaboratively with otherteam members on the execution of projectsthatsupportstrategic priorities.
  • Develops and maintainsstrong organizational knowledge and relationships(i.e. information systems, human resources, finance, facility management, materials management, marketing,risk management, legal, corporate compliance, quality, etc.).
  • Appropriately utilizes market research data and other tools to provide insightful and decision-guiding information.
  • Utilizes MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Utilizes standard project management processes, tools, and methodology.
  • Provides assistance to physician leadersto support data review, market analysis, program growth, and providerrelationship activities.
  • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
  • Able to work comfortably in large and small teams as a facilitator, comfortable with temporary teams, fluid reporting relationships, and multiple levels of accountability.
  • Participates in professional healthcare and community associations to keep abreast of current healthcare trends.
