About The Position

Liquid Web is seeking an experienced Digital Project Manager to oversee product development initiatives. We are looking for a strategic thinker who excels at introducing structure and clarity to complex technical environments. The ideal candidate is someone who is meticulously organized and who takes pride in facilitating peak performance of development teams. Core expectations for this role include proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management frameworks, with the ability to select the optimal approach for each project based on its specific requirements. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to maintaining rigorous documentation and tracking systems to ensure measurable progress, as well as a dedicated focus on removing roadblocks and optimizing workflows so that team members are consistently positioned for success. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of the maintenance track and multiple development projects from inception to launch and beyond. You should feel comfortable managing dependencies, mitigating risks, and organizing complex projects across teams and departments. You should ask lots of questions, feel a need to understand the project, champion business goals, and engage with the products and technology enough to anticipate project risks and propose solutions. This is a permanently remote full-time position with a pay range of $65k-$95k per year.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of certifications and/or experience
3+ years of project management experience
Demonstrated experience managing product development projects
Experience with Agile project management methodologies and frameworks
Sufficient level of technical aptitude to effectively assess and communicate any technical risks or challenges
Able to present ideas, collaborate effectively, and influence at all levels of the organization
Strong understanding of company/business issues
Ability to multitask and ability to exercise flexibility to change priorities as needed
Proven proficiency in the Project Manager role and function (multi-resource management, work breakdown, management of project issues, risks, dependencies, and schedule
Able to communicate clearly and concisely in both oral and written formats
Expertise with online collaboration tools: Slack, Google Meet, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Linear, Jira, or any number of project management tools.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of the maintenance release process, including sprint planning, development, QA, and release.
Establish and manage expectations and success criteria for everyone on a project, including the team and internal stakeholders.
Develop, maintain, and monitor project plans, including scope, deliverables, timeline, and risk mitigation.
Communicate project information, including status reporting, meeting actions, change requests, risk reports, issue logs, schedule, and budget performance charts, etc.
Manage all aspects of project delivery, including defining project scope, specifying deliverables, estimating project duration and cost, managing project budget, creating detailed project plans, and managing project change lifecycle.
Collaborate with teammates and leadership to align resourcing and project delivery with overall business goals and objectives.
Lead scrums, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Internal Stakeholder Demos, and other meetings.
Perform meeting prep, prepare agendas, and handle all follow-ups.
Set up and maintain tickets in the project management system.
Coordinate resources and schedules across departments.
Manage scope, budget, and timeline constraints and execution.
Collaborate on department efforts to standardize project management methodologies.
Streamline ops and onboarding / offboarding processes.
