About The Position

As a Project Manager, you will oversee 5-7+ projects simultaneously, collaborating with sales to define project requirements and developing execution plans. You will work closely with assigned project engineers and teams to execute the scope of work, ensuring satisfaction of the proposed scope of work and customer specifications. Your role will involve controlling internal equipment costs, labor costs, and deliveries, as well as managing sub-contractors to maintain quality, cost, and delivery standards. Additionally, you will interface with customers for reporting and issue resolution, and provide status, spending, and schedule reporting to both internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of project management experience in an industrial environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with electrical engineered systems and solutions engineered orders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with PLC, drives, and HMI products.
  • Experience in metals processing and construction.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee 5-7+ projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with sales to define project requirements at the onset of each project.
  • Develop project execution plans.
  • Work with assigned project engineers and teams to execute the scope of work.
  • Control internal equipment costs, labor costs, and deliveries.
  • Coordinate and manage sub-contractors, ensuring control of quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Ensure project satisfies the proposed scope of work and customer specifications.
  • Interface with customers for reporting and resolution of issues.
  • Provide status, spending, and schedule reporting to internal and external customers.
  • Travel to customer sites 25% of the time, primarily within the northeast coast.
  • Manage automation projects ranging from $50,000 to $5,000,000.
  • Work with customers and internal teams to ensure schedules and budgets are met.
  • Hold weekly project team meetings.
  • Provide customer updates and meet with customers.
  • Track and control project budgets.
