About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Project Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to lead and coordinate a portfolio of critical projects that directly support national security missions and customer success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Engineering or related technical/business field
  • 15+ years of related work experience is required
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple, concurrent projects in a classified or national security environment (e.g., DoD, IC, DHS, or similar).
  • Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, cost, and risk using standard project management practices and tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience interfacing directly with government customers and senior leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing concise briefings and status reports.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance, as required by the position.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, mission-driven setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Active U.S. government security clearance (Secret, TS, or TS/SCI, as required by the contract).
  • Experience working on defense, intelligence, homeland security, or other national security programs.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost/schedule performance tracking methods.
  • Familiarity with government acquisition processes, contracts (e.g., IDIQ, CPFF, FFP), and task order execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead distributed teams and collaborate across multiple Parsons and customer organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent, small-scale projects that support national security objectives.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for government customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and expectations management.
  • Developing and managing integrated project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and resource plans across the project portfolio.
  • Coordinating cross-functional project teams (engineering, cyber, operations, logistics, etc.) to meet technical, schedule, and performance requirements.
  • Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and issues, and proactively driving corrective actions.
  • Preparing and delivering regular status reports, briefings, and decision-quality updates to program leadership and government stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, security protocols, quality standards, and relevant policies and procedures.
  • Supporting proposal development, basis-of-estimate inputs, and project planning for new task orders and follow-on work.
  • Driving continuous improvement, lessons learned, and best practices across the project portfolio.
