About The Position

We are a cleantech contractor that provides comprehensive energy efficiency services for energy service companies (ESCOs) and corporate clients. Our services are provided by six specialized units focused on weatherization, water efficiency engineering, lighting, airflow controls, HVAC, and infrastructure solutions. ECM Holding Company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate Project Manager / Project Manager in Wisconsin to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for project delivery, ensuring that site operations, documentation, and customer relations align with company standards. This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, balancing administrative rigor with hands-on site management. This position requires physical stamina, a willingness to learn, and strong attention to detail. This is a dynamic role that requires extensive travel to various job sites, often involving both driving company vehicles and air travel. Travel is expected up to 50% of the time. In this role you will be on project sites, and on customer sites. When not onsite this role is remote with the ability to be in office (Head Quarters in Oshkosh Wisconsin) if necessary.

Requirements

  • Valid driver licenses required.
  • OSHA 10, if not certified must be completed within 30 days of hire date.
  • Ability to get the proper equipment or company vehicles to and from job sites.
  • Previous experience in project management or a related field (construction, field services, or technical project coordination preferred).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate technical project requirements into clear, professional communications.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% to job sites.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and experience with document management/project tracking software.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with customers and onsite staff in diverse environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an active onsite presence to oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and timeline requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive onsite audits to evaluate performance against project specifications and compliance standards.
  • Draft and manage project submittals, ensuring all technical documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted within established deadlines.
  • Prepare and manage all necessary project paperwork, including progress reports, change orders, and safety documentation.
  • Coordinate the final project close-out process, ensuring all deliverables, warranties, and documentation are handed over to the customer and internal stakeholders efficiently.
  • Act as the primary interface with customers, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and maintaining professional, transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Safety, Operations, Finance) to ensure resource alignment and project success.
  • Utilize internal tracking systems (e.g., Smartsheet or similar) to monitor project milestones and budget health.
  • Other duties as assigned.
