About The Position

Leidos Intelligence Group is seeking a Project Manager to support an enterprise IT program who specializes in support tasks. Primary Responsibilities: This program focuses on cyber protections to allow data owners and the consumers of sensitive information to trust that their data and collaborative working environments are safeguarded against threats. The comprehensive cyber defense capabilities deter and mitigate malicious threats by heightening the security, integrity and resilience of our information systems in the sensitive data space. Job Duties: Project Management support for tasks that require the collection, compilation, evaluation and publication of information and statistical data in documents, records, forms, reports, plans, policies, and regulations as it pertains to IT projects. Requires portfolio and project management support in accordance with Sponsor practices. The Project Manager will report to the front office and shall receive tasking directly from the customer, with priorities managed by the Government Task Manager (GTM) and Staff Project Integrator (PM). Shall assist with gathering IT program requirements, and schedule performance matters and issues relating to IT projects. The Project Manager will ensure tasks are completed within the deadlines and tasking guidance is clear and unambiguous and ensure program and project reporting on performance and status is complete and delivered per requirements and deadlines. They will assist with the completion of all necessary programmatic artifacts required to effectively and successfully manage the program are created, maintained, and made available to GMT or Staff PM in a document repository approved by the Sponsor. Additionally, the Project Manager will assist with providing executive technical writing support, editing, and integration of various sources into a cohesive products and narratives; assist with composing and editing briefings, formal reports, document, deliverables, and actions; and assist with maintaining records, reports, documentation, operating procedures, internal memorandums, and compose correspondence as it pertains to IT project management. They will also assist the with ensuring accuracy in portfolio and project management documentation.

Requirements

  • Must have an active TS/SCI with Poly to be considered.
  • Must have Bachelor's Degree and at least 12 years of relevant experience OR Masters and at least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience solving technical problems.
  • Experience ensuring tasks are completed within the deadlines and tasking guidance.
  • Assist in the planning and coordinating of all program activities.
  • Demonstrated experiencing taking measures to mitigate gaps in service due to the attrition or fluctuation of program personnel.
  • Demonstrated experience ensuring program reporting on performance and status is complete and delivered per requirements and deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience consulting and coordinating to ensure problem resolution, task scheduling, new resource requirements, training needs, and task clarification.
  • Demonstrated experience consulting with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating and participating in meetings and information sessions; coordinate project schedules; create/distribute minutes and action items; trace action items for successful completion.
  • Demonstrated experience assisting in assessing, documenting, and tracking new program requirements and follow-on technical exchange meetings (TEMs)
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining files, records, files for reports, documentation, operating procedures, internal memorandums, and compose correspondence
  • Demonstrated experience planning and coordinating program management process activities such as Program Reviews and Control Gate Reviews including scheduling of meetings and preparation of briefings/presentations
