This role sits at the intersection of project delivery, technical coordination, and client engagement. You’ll manage real-world infrastructure and technical services projects while working closely with company leadership and external partners. Your work will directly influence project outcomes, client satisfaction, and future growth opportunities. About PEMCCO PEMCCO, Inc. is an integrated Information Technology (IT), Information Management (IM), Systems Engineering, and Technical Services firm supporting infrastructure, transportation, and capital program delivery environments. We help our customers deliver mission‑critical engineering support, program coordination, data‑driven decision tools, and technology‑enabled solutions that improve operational performance, asset reliability, and capital project execution. You’ll manage assigned projects end‑to-end while serving as a key liaison between clients, leadership, and technical teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management, project coordination, or a similar client‑facing role.
  • Experience managing project schedules, deliverables, and budgets.
  • Ability to understand and work with technical documentation and schematics.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common collaboration tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to client sites.
  • Ability to obtain any client‑required clearance, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Background in engineering, electronics, electrical systems, or infrastructure.
  • Experience writing SOPs or technical documentation.
  • Experience in government contracting, transportation, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Exposure to early‑stage business development or capture activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects through initiation, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal leadership.
  • Track schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
  • Ensure quality standards and contractual requirements are met.
  • Provide regular project updates and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate staffing needs, including interviewing and placing qualified personnel.
  • Resolve operational or personnel issues quickly and professionally.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Support the continuous improvement of internal project and delivery processes.
  • Apply technical understanding to interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Participate in client meetings, site visits, and coordination sessions.
  • Maintain awareness of upcoming procurements and shifting client needs.
  • Assist with early‑stage business development efforts, including opportunity research and internal tracking.
  • Support relationship development with existing and prospective clients.
  • Provide insights to leadership on market conditions and growth opportunities based on project interactions.
