The Role – Project Manager Reporting to the Senior Project Manager the mission of this role is to take 100% responsibility for managing and delivering sold projects for BlastOne BIS Division. Responsible for delivering projects on time, on budget and with highest customer satisfaction. Maintain project scope, schedule, and budget from sales handover to customer acceptance Assess project risks and coordinate plan to mitigate Identify critical path items and coordinate execution to schedule Develop and communicate project schedule with key milestone dates to external and internal customers Track and communicate variances in budget throughout project life cycle Develop material and operational improvements with the customer to deliver superior quality systems Coordinate schedule execution to milestone dates with internal BIS groups including engineering, control systems, purchasing and procurement, assembly, testing, quality, logistics and technical services Forecast all project materials and services for expected date that Costs of Goods Sold (COGS) and related Recognized Revenue/Earned Value based on key milestone completion dates Act as key contact and face of BlastOne expertise in communications with customers
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in managing capital projects for industrial facilities and/or equipment supply
- Experience with management of installation, startup, and commissioning of industrial projects
- Strong knowledge of project management methodology
- Strong understanding of industrial projects and equipment
- Has on time, on budget delivery experience to a client rather than just an internal team
- Bachelors in Business Administration, Construction Management or related discipline
Responsibilities
