The Project Manager is the central point of leadership for all aspects of commercial mechanical construction projects—from planning through completion. You’ll oversee HVAC, plumbing, and piping scopes , managing budgets, schedules, and teams to ensure projects are completed safely, profitably, and on time. This is a high-impact role ideal for a results-driven professional with strong technical expertise, financial acumen, and leadership skills who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Proven Project Management skills with a minimum 3-5 years' experience in project management with full mechanical contracting or related construction firms .
  • Strong knowledge of construction financials, cost forecasting, and project closeout procedures.
  • Proficiency in software tools including Timberline Accounting Software, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, CAD, and other related engineering software tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to project sites as needed.
  • Proficient in multiple trades (Specifically HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Building Automation Systems).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with New Construction and Renovation projects is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple full mechanical construction projects of various sizes.
  • Maintain and monitor general conditions, workshop, and subcontractor specifications before, during, and after the project.
  • Supervise Project Engineers and General Superintendents.
  • Collaborate withheld supervision to plan, organize, and schedule project work.
  • Review contracts and subcontract agreements to ensure compliance.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost code structures.
  • Ensure proper safety policies throughout each project.
  • Purchase materials, equipment, and subcontracts; maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare and submit progress billing applications.
  • Collaborate with design teams, experience with design-build/design-assist construction.
  • Maintain strong client relationships.
