About The Position

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects within scope, budget, and timeline. They coordinate cross-functional teams, manage resources, and ensure project objectives align with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 5-10 years of project management experience working with a variety of different projects from easy to complex, experience managing conversion projects a plus
  • A minimum of 5 years’ banking experience, preferred
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Teams, Mondays, Jira, Etc.)
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, PMP certification preferred)
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, detail oriented, not afraid to make decisions, and demonstrates initiative, professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to think outside the box and work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain the strictest of confidentiality of non-public information
  • Proficiency in word, excel spreadsheets as well as M365 suite of products, including Teams
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Problem solver with the ability to encourage others in collaborative problem solving
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Willingness and ability to work outside normal business hours

Nice To Haves

  • PMP or similar certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
  • Scheduling: Develop and maintain project timelines and milestones
  • Budget Management: Monitor costs and ensure projects stay within budget
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Team Coordination: Lead and motivate project teams, assign tasks, and manage performance
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to stakeholders and ensure alignment
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project records and reports
