Summary: The Project Manager will lead the design and installation of EV charging infrastructure projects, serving as the primary accountability owner for the full delivery of EV projects from customer contract signing to commercial operation. This comprehensive role encompasses end-to-end project management responsibilities including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout phases of each project. The Project Manager I will collaborate extensively with internal partners including Customer Success, Energy, Supply Chain, Operations, Project Finance, Vehicle Titling & Registration, and the Marketing team to ensure seamless project delivery and exceptional customer experiences. The role will report directly to the Director, Project Execution. This role has a 25%-30% travel expectation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years professional experience OR 3+ years professional experience
  • 1+ years direct project management experience, preferably electrical or civil
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Self-motivated: proactively assume responsibilities, with the ability to operate effectively with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to collaborate across departments within the company, external customers, and partners.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • EV charging infrastructure experience preferred
  • Renewable energy project experience a plus (V2G, BESS, solar, storage, microgrid)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the full project lifecycle from pre-contract, execution, project completion and operational deployment
  • Partner with key internal experts to deliver projects with excellent customer experiences
  • Manage multiple projects in various stages at the same time
  • Select engineering consultants and installation contractors for projects
  • Negotiate and execute project-based subcontractor agreements
  • Coordinate with utilities for service upgrades and interconnection scopes of work
  • Support submission of all project permitting requirements
  • Establish and maintain project cost forecasts and actuals
  • Develop and drive detailed project schedules
  • Ensure compliance with all project and customer requirements
  • Collaborate with consultants, contractors and internal to solve unique challenges
