About The Position

The Project Managers work closely with the Director of Park Productions to manage all of the client projects in the Pro Unit. There are typically 2 Project Managers, who work together to make sure everything gets done. They serve as producers on many (but not all) of our client projects, and oversee the other staff producers for the rest. They are responsible for tracking the status of each ongoing project, and managing the needs of both the client and the student team to complete each project successfully. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director with managing all client projects, which includes: Consulting with potential clients
  • Drafting budgets for projects
  • Being a main point of contact for clients throughout the production process
  • Tracking status updates of each project and communicating with other staff to make sure all projects are progressing smoothly
  • Lead weekly Pro Unit meetings
  • Contribute to weekly manager meetings
  • Oversee all ongoing and consulting projects, including checking in with other team members to ensure all work is getting done in a timely fashion
  • Serve as Producer on several client projects - including coordinating shoots, scheduling with clients, assigning crew, preparing interview questions, and preparing call sheets
  • Oversee other staff producers who may be assigned to other projects
  • Host workshops
  • Represent Park Productions at campus events
  • Communicate with the full Park Productions member list about upcoming opportunities including crew calls, shadowing opportunities, workshops, and events.
