About The Position

As the Project Manager, you will oversee a wide range of capital projects, utilities, major maintenance initiatives, and vendor/contractor relationships. From preparing proposals and managing contracts to ensuring regulatory compliance, you’ll play a critical role in driving the long-term success and improvement of our resort assets. This position is instrumental in managing capital expenditures and property enhancements, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution. The ideal candidate excels at multitasking, communicates effectively across departments, and brings strong attention to detail and time/resource management. Position is located on-premises in Breckenridge, CO. Full-time, year-round position with benefits eligibility. Position range $70,000-$85,000 Annual Salary DOE

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or 5+ years related work experience – required
  • 1+ years experience managing projects – required
  • 1+ years experience coordinating with contractors and suppliers – required
  • Proficiency in English written and spoken language – required
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) – required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Microsoft Project management software – preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee capital projects, from planning through execution and completion.
  • Provide regular project updates to internal departments and, where applicable, to guests.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely, on-budget project delivery.
  • Develop and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Requests for Quotes (RFQs).
  • Prepare and present project and financial updates to Senior Management and the Board of Directors; attend Board Meetings as needed.
  • Solicit, evaluate, and manage project bids; support the execution and oversight of contracts.
  • Follow established accounting procedures related to budgeting, forecasting, purchase orders, and invoice processing.
  • Prepare the annual capital budget and maintain the capital and major maintenance master plan.
  • Ensure all projects comply with applicable town, county, state, and federal codes and regulations.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and conduct annual facility inspections.
  • Maintain up-to-date property plans and blueprints in both digital and physical formats.
  • Collaborate closely with the Maintenance Department; this role includes shared responsibilities and coordination with the Director of Maintenance, with indirect reporting lines as appropriate.
