About The Position

This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering assigned projects while managing resources, schedules, budgets, and stakeholder communication. The Project Manager leads project execution across multiple departments, applying established project management practices to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The role involves managing projects from initiation through closure in accordance with ebm-papst standards, developing and maintaining project plans, and identifying project requirements such as staffing, materials, financial resources, and timelines. The Project Manager monitors project progress and performance, schedules and facilitates project meetings, provides regular status reports to senior management, and serves as a primary communication link among project team members and internal stakeholders, escalating issues and risks as appropriate. Operational responsibilities include tracking and monitoring costs, conferring with personnel and stakeholders to resolve issues, assigning tasks, and monitoring team member performance. The position manages various project types including New Product Development, Organizational, and Localization, utilizing software such as AS400, SAP, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, Meisterplan, and other internal systems or tools as required, while adhering to ebm-papst PDP Standards. General responsibilities also include participating in cross-departmental collaboration.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is required.
  • 3+ years of proven project management experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred Degrees: Business Administration, Engineering, or another technical discipline.
  • Project Management Certification (PMA, PMP, or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned projects from initiation through closure in accordance with consistent with the ebm-papst standards.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource assignments.
  • Identify project requirements such as staffing, materials, financial resources, and timelines.
  • Monitor project progress and performance to ensure adherence to defined objectives.
  • Schedule and facilitate project meetings, including kickoff, status, and review meetings.
  • Provide regular project status reports, including milestones, risks, and recovery plans to senior management, as required.
  • Serve as a primary communication link among project team members and internal stakeholders.
  • Escalate project issues and risks as appropriate to ensure timely resolution.
  • Track and monitor costs incurred by project staff to identify potential budget variances.
  • Confer with project personnel and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues impacting project delivery.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to project team members and track completion.
  • Monitor the performance of project team members and provide appropriate feedback.
  • Manage New Product Development projects.
  • Manage Organizational projects.
  • Manage Localization projects.
  • Participate in cross‑departmental collaboration to support project success.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
