Purpose: The Project Manager is responsible for coordination, communication, and customer satisfaction; ensures projects assigned are completed on time and within budget. Essential Duties include the following: Complies with all company safety policies Oversees projects, ensuring profitability by implementing robust cost control measures, monitoring budgets, and managing expenditures effectively Responsible for thorough understanding and execution of project scope, financials, installation, and all project management Opens projects with SOVs, budget and NJRs. Competent at using Accubid: Efficient estimation with takeoffs, can modify estimates and breakdowns easily Prepares, presents, and tracks project financials: WIPs, Change Orders, Purchase Orders, and other necessary documentation Completes required subordinate evaluations and provides timely and appropriate feedback Directly oversees assigned projects of any size from start to finish, ensuring quality and timely completion Ensures delivery of equipment, materials, tools, and field staff are scheduled to meet project deadlines Plans and schedules resources with Superintendent to meet project expectations Provides direction to field staff in terms of task management Evaluates project costs, ensuring project remains on/under budget, updates monthly Manages Change Orders, Purchase Orders and other necessary documentations to include updating and closeout Assists in billing and collections process with Customer as needed Processes and maintains proper written documents needed for projects Acts as a liaison between architects, contractors, and owners, etc. Conducts site visits weekly Actively develops and identifies opportunities for future work Performs contract review and management Provides pre-con support (including but not limited to bid review, spec review, interview, quotation review, etc...) Oversees subcontractor relationships Performs account management duties as necessary Oversees and directs project closeouts Responsible for compliance with all Kenny SOP’s, including the P.M. SOP Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Construction Management degree preferred
  • 6-10 Years of progress experience for a commercial/industrial electrical contractor
  • CO Journeyman’s license is preferred
  • Ability to understand electrical codes and standards (Electrical)
  • Ability to understand construction means and methods
  • Ability to understand and interpret blueprints
  • Proficient in various computerized estimating systems and all Office Applications (Accubid preferred)
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and organize multiple projects
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to exercise attention to detail
  • Possesses strong organizational capabilities
  • Strong accounting skills and financial aptitude
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and through written format
  • Ability to maintain rapport with customers, employees, etc.
  • Proven track record as a Project Manager
  • Possess good vision (normal or corrected)
  • Able to get to customer job sites
  • Able to walk and stand for long periods of time
  • Able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead
  • Able to work in all elements, depending on job locations and time of year
