About The Position

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing organizational projects that support operational excellence, clinical initiatives, system improvements, and strategic growth. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational priorities. The Project Manager partners with clinical, operational, financial, HR, IT, and executive teams to manage project workflows, track progress, remove barriers, and deliver successful outcomes. This role provides structure, discipline, and communication across departments to ensure consistent project execution and organizational alignment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of project management experience, preferably in healthcare, behavioral health, hospital operations, or regulated environments.
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, Trello, MS Project, or Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clinical and non-clinical teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage timelines, prioritize tasks, and execute with discipline.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project planning including scope definition, timelines, resource allocation, and milestones.
  • Develop project charters, workplans, and documentation that align with organizational goals.
  • Coordinate meetings, agenda planning, task assignments, and follow-up communication.
  • Monitor project status, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with clinical, operational, HR, IT, facilities, finance, and administrative teams to drive project alignment.
  • Ensure stakeholders understand project goals, timelines, deliverables, and expectations.
  • Facilitate communication between departments and escalate barriers impacting progress.
  • Provide workflow support for major initiatives such as program expansion, system upgrades, operational redesign, and quality improvement.
  • Support standardization and optimization of processes across hospitals and programs.
  • Assist with rollout of organizational initiatives including new technology, regulatory enhancements, policy updates, and workflow changes.
  • Track and report progress on implementation efforts, ensuring successful adoption at the facility level.
  • Document process maps, SOPs, and training support tools when needed.
  • Develop and maintain project dashboards, trackers, and performance metrics.
  • Prepare updates, presentations, and summaries for executive leadership and project sponsors.
  • Ensure reporting is accurate, data-driven, and clearly communicated to stakeholders.
  • Monitor outcomes after project completion to ensure sustained improvement.
  • Provide regular project updates to leadership, sponsors, and departmental partners.
  • Deliver clear written and verbal communication regarding decisions, deadlines, and next steps.
  • Facilitate alignment meetings, planning sessions, and debriefs to maintain project momentum.
  • Support change management efforts to ensure successful adoption across teams.
