About The Position

First Response Restoration is looking for a Project Manager to join our thriving and growing home restoration company! While some experience is desirable, we're ultimately looking for motivated, go-getting, happy learners with some home construction and repair knowledge. We see Project Managers as communication and knowledge hubs in our organization, working with all of our players from customer to GM to ensure that we continue to deliver high quality work on efficient timelines for optimal value. The work of the Project Manager is to assess the work required at a site, primarily by developing estimates and timelines for completing work; developing materials, scope, and pricing parameters for a job; and tracking job progress and satisfaction. Project Managers perform marketing, sales, estimation, project management, and accounting tasks across their varied work days, and are a critical part of First Response Restoration’s success.

Requirements

  • Some experience in project management
  • Some experience in or substantial knowledge of construction, renovation, repair, restoration; carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or other construction work
  • Some experience managing or supervising personnel
  • Some experience in customer service or customer-facing roles
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • High degree of maturity and professionalism
  • Ability to establish and meet deadlines
  • Quick learner, flexible, adaptive, proactive

Nice To Haves

  • Some experience with Matterport, Eagleview, DocuSketch360, Xactimate, and QuickBooks, among other estimation and project management applications or software
  • Excellent mathematical, reckoning, and logical thinking skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Sales and commission motivation

Responsibilities

  • First point of contact between customer and company throughout life of the project
  • Coordinate and communicate amongst homeowners, subcontractors, suppliers, and insurance adjuster
  • Set up job site for estimation, including 360-degree camera, taking measurements, performing chamber sketches
  • Define scope of work and ensure it aligns with homeowner expectations and insurance estimates
  • Enter data and information into estimation software and documentation
  • Meticulous documentation across life of project
  • Conduct site visits to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to scope while inspecting completed work and ensuring it meets FRR and industry standards
  • Obtain necessary permits and ensure that work is code-compliant
  • Making sales and securing opportunities for FRR
