The Project Manager will manage projects, manufacturing or otherwise, across the company using appropriate project management methodologies. This role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams consisting of members from supply chain, sales engineering, sales, quality, planning, operations, and manufacturing engineering to drive project success and improve interdepartmental communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Associate’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field with 2 years minimum industry or relevant engineering experience and actively seeking a Bachelor level degree
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience.
  • Experience with metal fabrication and manufacturing.
  • Experience using various project management methodologies.
  • Mechanical and technical proficiency.
  • Administrative computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office).
  • Proficiency with project management software & task management programs (e.g. Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Clickup, etc.).
  • Good communication and decision-making abilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to self-manage and self-motivate effectively.
  • Recognize and promote high quality products and deliverables.
  • Maintain a customer focus in all duties and directives.
  • Possess adaptability and flexibility traits.
  • Effective relationship management abilities.
  • Strong technical and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from initiation through closure using the appropriate project management methodology (predictive, agile, etc.).
  • Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure alignment and timely execution of project tasks.
  • Facilitate effective communication across internal and external teams to overcome collaboration challenges.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address risks and roadblocks.
  • Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.
  • Promote accountability and foster a culture of teamwork and transparency.
