About The Position

Our client is a leading global construction consultancy renowned for delivering high-profile, complex construction projects acting as the Owner's Representative. With a strong focus on sustainability and innovation, they are truly at the forefront of their industry. We are currently seeking talented full-time Project Manager with 5 - 8 years of construction, project management, or engineering experience to serve as an Owner's Representative on multiple retail tenant improvement projects. This role is responsible for on‑site construction execution, coordination of contractors and vendors, schedule and budget control, and ensuring compliance with client standards and regulatory requirements in retail store environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 - 8 years of retail construction experience, including acting as the Owner's Representative.
  • Experience managing tenant improvements and coordinating multiple trades and vendors.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy construction, inspections, and AHJ coordination under California codes.
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day‑to‑day field execution for retail tenant improvement projects, ensuring adherence to approved plans, specifications, and client standards.
  • Develop and maintain construction and fixturing schedules, look‑ahead plans, and constraint logs.
  • Lead site kickoff meetings, validate existing conditions, and identify risks, access limitations, and utility impacts.
  • Coordinate General Contractors, specialty trades, vendors, and landlord scope to maintain critical path flow.
  • Track progress, budgets, RFIs, submittals, change orders, inspections, and punch lists.
  • Oversee fixture logistics, including receiving, inventory, staging, and reorders.
  • Serve as the primary field contact; provide daily reporting, weekly status updates, and participate in OAC and program meetings.
