The EPA IT and Telecommunications Support Program provides comprehensive IT and telecommunications services to the EPA's National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory (NVFEL). The Program aims to support the laboratory's mission of conducting emissions testing and ensuring compliance with federal emissions and fuel economy standards. The Program covers various services, including desktop management, data center management, enterprise connectivity, IT security, business support, and application services. To acquire the advantage, Zolon seeks a Project Manager to support this Program. Job Description: Responsible for ensuring the project team completes the project within the schedule and budget. Provide project management support for new and existing IT development projects. Provides the overall management of the project direction as related to functionality, schedule, and budget. Ensures adherence to project management and EPA-specific software development life cycle and best practices; Manages the team's performance on project tasks. Secures acceptance and approval of deliverables from the project sponsor. Responsible for status reporting, risk management, and escalation of issues that cannot be resolved by the project team; Liaises with all current and future stakeholders. Give periodic project, program, and operational status updates as required by the government within an agreed-upon frequency and schedule. These are typically weekly or monthly task order status reports and weekly Agile/Scrum development meetings. Manage and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly workloads and schedules for active tasks with regard to schedule, budget, priority, risk, and quality to ensure quality response to government task order requests.
