Requirements

  • At least 10+ years’ experience in an industrial environment managing large-scale industrial projects including equipment de/commissioning, green and brown fields, closures and transfers
  • Projects must have presented a substantial level of complexity: regulatory, engineering, financial, people, etc, and scale
  • Ability to be very hands-on, but alsothe ability to interact with executive leadership at an appropriate level

Nice To Haves

  • Preference for individuals who have been trained in organizations with a strong Project Management corporate tradition
  • Functional Spanish is a definite asset

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, resources, and budget.
  • Manage day‑to‑day project execution, ensuring progress toward milestones.
  • Facilitate project kickoffs, status meetings, and stakeholder reviews.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional project teams and clarify roles and responsibilities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
  • Communicate proactively on project status, risks, issues, and decisions.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project issues, escalate when necessary, and drive resolution.
  • Adjust project plans and resources based on changing priorities.
  • Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained throughout.
  • Drive adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Conduct project post‑mortems and implement lessons learned.
