About The Position

US Display Group, Inc., a premier manufacturer of premiere Point of Purchase displays. The Project Manager role is a key position within our Corrugated Support Services Team. This person is responsible for guiding orders from inception to shipment within the manufacturing facility. Direct customer contact is required. Position Overview: The Project Manager is responsible for planning and executing key projects to achieve business objectives and delivery dates. Responsible for planning, communicating, coordinating, prioritizing, and measuring the overall activities, effectiveness, and productivity of the product development. Assist management with resource planning, utilization, and justification of business resources.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in business, engineering, science, information systems or a discipline closely related to the area served.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably.
  • Experience in the corrugated industry, preferably.
  • Must have the ability to problem solve, initiate and manage projects.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in project management skills such as project planning and execution.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as sales reports, operating instructions, and training and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Understanding of Design Control and the Quality System.
  • Knowledgeable in key tools: PowerPoint, Excel, Word. Data entry programs.

Responsibilities

  • Works seamlessly within each level of the business to ensure the business’s needs are properly met.
  • Prepare and present written and oral updates and other presentations to internal audiences as needed or based on established cadence.
  • Interact with senior level management to reach agreement regarding significant project strategies.
  • Identify problems/issues.
  • Anticipate future problems.
  • Resolve current issues.
  • Learn and adjust based on prior results and prior project experiences.
  • Take customer orders either directly from customers or sales representatives.
  • Place orders on a timely basis for purchases of materials and supplies to be used in production.
  • Handle customer complaints and questions and follow up with appropriate internal personnel as required.
  • Maintain customer files.
  • Process customer purchase orders.
  • Record and distribute customer order changes.
  • Email/Fax confirmations to customers
  • Assist sales personnel as appropriate and assist in generating supplemental sales.
  • Track warehouse items to ensure availability and that agreed-upon minimum/maximum levels are followed.
  • Analyze monthly usages and re-stocking per customer
  • Complies with company policies and procedures.
  • Additional duties as assigned by management.
