About The Position

We prefer candidates with prior experience overseeing projects or supporting project management activities. Pay: $30.00-$32.00 per hour. Place of Performance : University of Georgia; Athens, GA. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00–5:00 schedule and is fully on-site at the Athens, GA campus.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent and 2 years of professional experience
- Demonstrated experience in program and project management
- Strong organizational, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
- Familiarity with the research lifecycle and sponsored project environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed organization and support diverse teams
- Continual use of computer technology
- Lift and carry up to 20 pounds
- Driving as needed to perform job duties
Nice To Haves
- Five years of experience with program and/or project management
- Prior experience in a university setting
- Project Management Professional Certification
