About The Position
Project Manager The plumbing/piping detailer/designer works with the project team and peers to create detailed plumbing/mechanical piping models, layouts, drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM) reports, and isometric spool drawings. Plumbing Solutions has an immediate need for a plumbing/piping detailer with experience in 2D CAD and 3D (preferred but not required) modeling software to join our growing company in the Rancho Santa Margarita office. Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with strong 3D (preferred but not required) piping knowledge
- Plumbing, Piping Detailing experience.
- Demonstrated experience in AutoCAD, and 3D Modeling software (Autodesk products preferred)
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Plant 3D software
Nice To Haves
- Revit a plus
Responsibilities
- Create detailed plumbing/mechanical piping models, layouts, and drawings
- Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) reports
- Create isometric spool drawings
- Create fabrication cutsheets
- Identify design issues
- Problem solving with peers and teammates to ensure constructability
- Participate in BIM model coordination
