About The Position

In this pivotal role, you will lead fast-paced sprint-based planning and delivery processes across various teams that directly impact child welfare projects. You'll be responsible for transforming complex strategies into clear, actionable plans that ensure high-quality delivery while navigating stakeholder expectations. Your strong judgment and collaboration skills will empower teams to shift from planning to execution, continuously improving workflows and addressing project challenges as they arise. This role is essential in supporting initiatives that promote public good outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience, including 3 years in project management.
  • Strong proficiency with project management tools like JIRA and Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in fast-paced environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting public sector or mission-driven programs is a plus.
  • PMP and/or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Sprint and Project Planning.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage sprint-based work from initiation through delivery.
  • Translate high-level strategy and stakeholder input into actionable task plans.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including sprint plans and roadmaps.
  • Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks and quality concerns.
  • Coordinate work across cross-functional, matrixed teams using Agile approaches.
  • Serve as a reliable point of coordination, providing timely updates and communications.
  • Support continuous improvement focused on enhancing processes and team effectiveness.
